You can redeem miles into a flight ticket at any time within 3 years from the date you start getting them.
Note that the expiration date of the miles is not the same as the expiration date of your Miles&Smiles card. For example, if your card is valid until 2025, the miles you collect in 2024 will be valid until 2027.
